There are several different restoration services I offer, not just polishing. Some services will be carried out by different craftsmen, however all services will be organised and fully managed by myself.

Sword Appraisal / Valuation:
– $200 for full in-hand appraisal, which includes a written report covering provenance, condition, value & restoration options.
– $70 for signature translations via email.
Sword Polish: Polishing costs will be determined case by case, based on the condition, size and style of blade. Below is a rough guide to give some idea.
– Katana: $2800 – $3800
– Wakizashi: $2000 – $2800
– Tanto: $1500 – $2000
– Window: $300 – $350
Habaki: Solid, one piece construction, various styles available.
– Copper: $350 – $450
– Silver: $450 – $550
– Shakudo: $450 – $550
If gold foil or two piece habaki are wanted, they can also be arranged but currently the work would have to be done overseas and price is on request.
Shirasaya: Price depends on size of blade and extras such as horn inserts.
– Katana: $700 – $900
– Wakizashi: $500 – $700
– Tanto: $400 – $500
– Tsunagi: $150 – $200
Tsukamaki: Price on request
Koshirae / Lacquer Repair: Price on request
